What are Bridal Portraits?

Bridal portraits are pictures of a bridal couple dressed in their wedding best on a day other than their wedding day. They can be either before or after the wedding.

Why should I think about having bridal portraits?

Bridal portraits are done for a variety of reasons:

    *Some couples have bridal portraits done before their wedding as a way to limit the amount of time they are away from their guests on their wedding day.

    *Other couples like to have bridal portraits done after their wedding because they did not like the portraits done at their wedding or because they could not afford wedding day photography. Although bridal portraits should NOT be a REPLACEMENT for wedding day photography, they are a great supplement.

Where are Bridal Portraits taken? Can I have them done where we are getting married?

Bridal portraits can be taken anywhere. They can be done at your venue so they flow seamlessly into your wedding day photos, or they can be done somewhere special to your romantic story. Bridal portraits also give you a chance to be creative and incorporate elements that might not make it into your actual wedding day. For example, one couple who had a country theme to their wedding brought along a rope and had pictures of the groom roping his bride.

What does a Bridal Session include?

A Bridal Session includes a 2 hour session at up to 2 locations (driving time included), digital mastering of up to 20 portraits, 1 - 8x10 and 2 - 5x7s of your favorite portrait, and your digitally mastered portraits on a high resolution CD with unlimited printing rights.

How much do Bridal Portraits cost?

You may have noticed as you have been researching  that a comparable session from another photographer can cost anywhere from $500-$1200. Not so with Photos By Orion. For the small investment of $300 you can have it all.

How can you offer such a great price?

 I am a small studio and do on-location sessions whenever I can to keep studio costs down. I don't use high cost advertising like TV, radio, or direct mailings, and I don't use high cost products (like $1000 albums) in my studio setup. I offer great products and expensive items only when a client wants them, allowing me to keep my prices reasonable!
