We want you to feel comfortable
and like we are a friend. That is why we always want to meet with our clients
ahead of time so you can get to know us and we can get to know you too! Below is
a little background about each of us and a picture so you can get to know us.
Orion Davidson,
M.T.
Born and raised in Salem, OR,
Orion has been a photographer since high school. He
inherited the love from his father and was already very artistic by the time he
graduated in 1997. Throughout college, he continued to upgrade his equipment and
hone his photographic skills. In 2002, Orion joined
Digital Photography Challenge , an online community of photographers who
enter photographs in challenges in order to increase their skills and gain
recognition. In 2003, Orion and Kathryn were married and also
photographed their first wedding together for some friends of theirs. Both Orion
and Kathryn fell in love with the process of wedding photography. Orion enjoys
capturing the emotions and natural beauty that is all around him.
Kathryn
Davidson, MBA
Kathryn is the business manager and associate
photographer. Also born and raised in Salem, Kathryn began studying photography when she met Orion
in high school. He began teaching her the basics and she developed her
photographic eye with scenic and product photography. In 2003, Kathryn and
Orion began photographing weddings for their friends and found a new
photographic love. They continued to work as a team photographing events, and
after Kathryn obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree from Portland
State University in 2009, she and Orion decided to take their love of
photography from hobby to business. While she still enjoys a nice scenic view,
Kathryn's joy now is portraits and photojournalistic photography. She loves
capturing special, beautiful moments and the love a family shares.
Steve
Davidson, B.S.
Steve is our Fine Art photographer. His greatest
loves are landscape and wildlife photography. He has extensively photographed Arizona
flora and Oregon waterscapes. His recent projects include
photographing hoodoos in the Grand Staircase Escalante. Steve
has been a photographer for more than 30 years and truly is a master of his
craft. He has embraced the digital revolution and continues to learn everything
he can (as well as teach his fellow photographers) about the art of photography
and the digital darkroom.
